I know sum of u noticed my absence over d last while, i'm very sorry 4 missin out on lighting candles for ur Angel's, i think about GTS &all my friends every day as i Tink of baby Kyra, ting's are just so sad, i still cant believe this is how it is, such a healthy, happy baby who was loved so much and i'm sad 2say i have met so many of u through this same terrible experience.. I am going to get through you all and thank you personally as soon as I can for keeping Kyra's memorial a light, I should be back on as normal now so please bear with me as I light candles again 4 your Angel's. MY SPECIAL ANGEL KYRA WAS DUE THE 1ST OF APRIL 2009 & SURELY ENOUGH AT 00.32 ON HER DUE DATE, WEIGHING 7LB 5OZ SHE ARRIVED. PERFECT JUST ISN'T THE WORD, SHE WAS THE SPITTING IMAGE OF MY 2ND DAUGHTER SERENA, (SERENA LOVES THIS), WE COULD SEE HER ELDEST SISTER KEISHA WEN SHE SCRUNCHED HER LIL FACE UP, AND HER BROTHER TOBEY GAVE HER HIS NOSE :). KYRA WILL LIVE ON THROUGH THEM ALL. KYRA WAS A PERFECTLY HEALTHY BABY, SHE WAS THE HUNGRIEST BABY I HAD EVER SEEN. ON THE MORNING OF 12.05.09 @ 8.25am I WENT 2WAKE HER BUT MY WORST NIGHTMARE IMAGINABLE HAPPENED, SHE WAS MOTIONLESS. SHE HAD A LOVELY LITTLE SMILE ON HER FACE WHEN I LIFTED HER FROM HER BASKET BESIDE THE BED, BUT I KNEW SOMETHING WAS WRONG. I LOOKED IN ON HER BEFORE GETTIN MY ELDEST GIRLS READY 4SCHOOL BUT JUST THOUGHT SHE WAS STILL SLEEPING, HOW DID I NOT NOTICE THEN.... THE AMBULANCE WAS VERY QUICK 2 ARRIVE BUT IT WAS TOO LATE ~ SIDS or COT DEATH WAS THE CAUSE. WHEN WE ARRIVED AT THE HOSPITAL AFTER THE AMBULANCE, WE WERE TAKEN INTO A ROOM AND TOLD KYRA WAS STILL BEEN WORKED ON BY DOCTORS IN THE ROOM NEXT TO US, ALL THE TIME WE SAT THERE I REALLY THOUGHT WE WERE GOING TO BE TOLD THAT THEY WOULD GET HER BREATHING AGAIN, SHE REALLY DID JUST LOOK LIKE SHE WAS SLEEPING WHEN SHE WAS TAKEN IN THE AMBULANCE, ONLY HER LIPS WERE A LITTLE BLUE, BUT WHEN 4 DOCTORS CAME IN I KNEW SHE REALLY WAS GONE, I KEPT BEGGING THEM 2 TRY FOR JUST 5 MORE MINUTES BUT IT WAS 2 LATE. I TOLD THEM I WANTED HER BACK STRAIGHT AWAY, THEY WENT INTO THE OTHER ROOM AND TOOK KYRA INTO US, OUR WEE ANGEL LOOKED SO BEAUTIFUL, AS WORD SPREAD AROUND, ALL MY FAMILY & FRIENDS CAME UP 2 THE HOSPITAL 2GET ONE LAST HOLD OF OUR ANGEL. SHE JUST LOOKED LIKE SHE WAS SLEEPING, STILL HAD HER ROSY COLOR AND STILL FELT SO WARM. SHE WAS BAPTIZED IN THE HOSPITAL, THEN WE WHERE TAKEN 2 THE HOSPITAL CHAPEL WHERE WITH FAMILY & FRIENDS WE HAD A PRAYER SERVICE. WE HAD TO LEAVE KYRA THERE OVER NIGHT AS SHE HAD 2 HAVE A POST MORTEM, WE GOT TO TAKE HER HOME THE NEXT DAY IN HER LITTLE WHITE BOX, IT WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF OUR LIVES, WE GOT TO WAKE HER FOR THE DAY AND SHE STILL LOOKED SO BEAUTIFUL A LITTLE CHUBBIER & SHE STILL HAD HER LITTLE SMILE, I STAYED LYING OVER HER ALL NIGHT UNTIL THE TIME CAME THE NEXT MORNING TO TAKE HER TO BE BURIED, WE WANTED 2 PLAY HER TINKERBELL SONG AT THE FUNERAL BUT THE RADIO WOULDN'T WORK. BUT WE HAVE A LOVELY PARISH PRIEST WHO ALLOWED US 2 HAVE A MASS FOR HER 1ST MONTH MINE SO WE PLAYED THE SONG AT THAT. HER SISTERS TOOK IT VERY WELL BUT HAD LOADS OF QUESTIONS WHICH WE SAT THEM DOWN AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING AS BEST WE COULD. AND THEIR BROTHER IS TOO YOUNG TO UNDERSTAND BUT STIL TALKS ABOUT HER EVERY DAY AND KISSES HER PICTURES, WE VISIT HER GARDEN EVERY EVENING AS IT'S JUST UP THE ROAD SO WE GET TO SAY GOODNIGHT WITH THE KIDS AND WE SAY OUR PRAYERS TO OUR LITTLE GUARDIAN ANGEL. THEN AGAIN WE ARE SO LUCKY WE HAD THOSE 6 WEEKS, WE THANK GOD FOR THAT.

In an eerie nightly mist,
Sat alone upon the harbor,
A ghostly child awaits his ship,

He says farewell to the world,
